In Cyclad we work with top international IT companies in order to boost their potential in delivering outstanding, cutting edge technologies that shape the world of the future. For our Client, international company that provides language learning services, we are searching for a Developer to build out and manage web infrastructure. Project entails implementing both back office tools as customer facing web apps UI, developing APIs, connecting the two, and setting up our server infrastructure. This includes all associated areas such as database and architecture design.

Project information:
  • Industry: Language learning platform for business
  • Location: Kraków; currently 100% remotely
  • Business trips: No
  • Remote work: currently 100%; ultimately hybrid work possible (50%/50%)
  • Salary: up to 15 000 PLN/gross/month or 15 000 PLN/net/month + VAT (including 20 days of paid holiday a year)

  • Tech Stack: Node.js, TypeScript, Python + Chalice, OpenAPI, HTML5, SASS, React, Jest, AWS (Lambda, ECS, SNS), Docker, Postgres, Redis

Project scope:
  • Design and implementation of the overall web architecture
  • Implementation of back office tools as customer facing web apps UI
  • Design and deployment of our database
  • Ensuring the entire stack is designed and built for speed and scalability
  • Design and construction of our REST API
  • Integrating our front-end UI with the constructed API
  • Design and implementation of continuous integration and deployment
  • Collaborating with mobile app developers and the design team to establish optimal workflow and consistent interface through all of the product touchpoints

Requirements:
  • Team player: you will be working with multiple teams spread across the entire globe
  • 3+ years of experience in design and development of web applications
  • Writing HTML, CSS, React, Typescript and JavaScript. Being up on latest practices is a must, e.g., HTML5, CSS3, and ECMAScript 6 (minimum)
  • A relevant back-end programming language in Python is a plus
  • Database design and management, including being up on the latest practices and associated versions
  • Managing and deploying web app in Cloud environment (AWS)
  • Familiarity with a relevant and globally supported framework - both front-end and back-end, if necessary – React
  • Thorough understanding of user experience and possibly even product strategy
  • Experience implementing testing platforms and unit tests
  • Proficiency with Git
