We have staff across the UK, US, Germany and Poland, and ambitious expansion plans for the coming years. We are now seeking a talented QA Engineer to join the team and support that growth.
The successful candidate will be involved in the full development life cycle of the platform and will be responsible for the testing processes around the application. They will be part of a team that’s responsible for managing and optimizing images, processing vast amounts of image viewing data, managing business logic, and much more.
Key responsibilities
- Manual testing of web-based products (UI and API)
- Preparing test data and documentation, and ensuring it’s kept up to date
- Performing testing activities including requirements analysis, test planning, test-case preparation, test execution and test-closure activities
- Working closely with the Development and Product teams throughout the entire life cycle of product releases
- Extending and improving automation tests
Skills, experience and requirements
Essential
- At least two years’ experience as a manual QA Engineer
- Solid understanding of QA best practices and methodologies
- Deep awareness and demonstrable experience of functional testing
- Hands-on experience in manual testing of web-based applications
- Experience of API testing (understanding of REST API concept)
- Solid ability to build and maintain test documentation
- Experience in cross-browser and cross-platform testing
- Attention to detail and strong analytical thinking
- Experience in test automation
- Knowledge of programming language (preferably TypeScript)
- An understanding of web automation tools (WebdriverIO, Selenium) and API testing tools (such as Postman)
- Experience using CI/CD tools (preferably Jenkins)
- Familiarity with SQL databases
- Experience with modern HTML/CSS and TypeScript – this would be a significant advantage
- Knowledge of digital image processing
