Responsibilities:
- Maintain and support applications to ensure minimal downtime and loss of productivity and service
- Monitor the system performance regularly against the performance benchmarks, and proactively identify future issues, and plan to optimize performance
- Follow ITIL process (incident, problem, change management, etc.)
- Investigate and resolve enterprise application functionality issues. Provide second level troubleshooting support for core system issues and ancillary applications
- Serve as an integrator between business needs and technology solutions, helping to create technology solutions to meet client’s business needs
- Ensure that current documentation of system is maintained and updated
- Bachelor’s degree in field that illustrates aptitude to successfully complete the position duties and responsibilities or equivalent combination of relevant education, certifications, or work experience
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills. The ability to research solutions, collaborate with existing subject matter experts, evaluate current methodology and strive for constant improvement.
- Knowledge of relational database and query concepts (i.e. MSSQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL)
- Understanding of networking: (TCP/IP, LAN / WAN, DHCP, DNS, Routing, Switching and Firewalls)
- Technical experience with Application Servers configuration and troubleshooting (e.g. IIS, Tomcat, Weblogic, Websphere, JBoss)
- Experience with Microsoft Server and Linux Operating Systems
- Good communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Good communication skills in written and spoken Polish and English
- Being a team player, going above and beyond in taking additional responsibilities
Nice to have:
- Experience with a variety of programming and scripting languages, including Java, .NET, SQL, Python, etc.
- Knowledge of Application Performance Management tools like Dynatrace, AppDynamics, NewRelic
- Experience with automation/configuration management using either Puppet/Chef/Run Deck or an equivalent
- Experience with Kubernetes (strongly preferred) or other container orchestration platforms
- Familiarity with Virtualization aspects (e.g. VMWare)
