Python Support Developer

Platige Image is looking for a talented Python Support Developer to make our Pipeline Team even stronger. You will have the opportunity to work on tools crucial for our productions. If you want to participate in world-class projects, creating fantastic cinematics for games such as Call of Duty, or want to help the TV series Geralt in slaying monsters, keep reading!

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES IN A NUTSHELL
– Maintaining in-house Python tools that shape and automate the production.
– Adapting our tools for immediate project needs.
– Managing releases of our tools.
– Supporting artists in using our tools.
– Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving issues.
– Cooperating with team members, artists, and other technical teams to better understand the needs and implement intelligent solutions.
– Escalating issues and requests to other team members or different technical teams as necessary.
– Participating in the code review process.
– Maintaining documentation.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
– Knowledge of Python.
– Basic knowledge of at least one programming language (excluding Python).
– Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
– Spoken and written English, at least on a communicative level.

ADDITIONALLY SCORED
– Knowledge or/and interest in the areas of computer graphics (also as an artist), microservices, or DevOps.
– Knowledge of Maya, Nuke, Houdini, C++, CMake, Qt/PySide, pytest, Linux, Docker, CI/CD, Git, GitLab, Elasticsearch, SQL, or NoSQL databases.
– Experience with agile working practices.
