The project and the team
We are looking for a creative GoLang Engineer to join our client’s R&D team which is building a framework to orchestrate application and network services. The whole team consists of a Product Manager, developers and QA engineers.
Other things to know:
- The team consists of front-end software developers who cooperate closely with backend team
- We use SCRUM methodology
We work on multiple interesting projects at a time, so we may invite you to an interview for another project, if we see that your competencies and profile are well suited for it.
Examples of projects:
Project A involves building a user interface for software responsible for configuring EVPN. The project is part of the client’s company’s business, so you will be able to touch a money-spinning product which is a complex solution. Our part of work directly involves functions allowing the user to quickly set up and handle sophisticated access redundancy scenarios.
Project B involves building an Event Booking System for our client - a multiservice utility provider based in London, England. Our client provides its customers with landline & mobile telephony, broadband, gas, and electricity. The system you will be building is based on Event Sourcing pattern and consists of multiple distributed micro services written in golang.
Project C involves building a new product on top of observability & AI concepts and which will be for modern cloud applications (details are protected by an NDA). The customer is a Silicon Valley start-up in stealth mode and is driven by successful start-up founders. You will work with a dedicated UX designer, experienced backend and DevOps teams.
Your role
As a part of the project team, you will be responsible for:
- Working in agile methodology and collaborating with the rest of the team (product managers, UX designers, back-end developers)
- Implementing new features and extending/improving existing ones
- Implementing unit tests
Do we have a match?
As a Mid/ Senior Go Lang Engineer you must meet the following criteria:
- Good knowledge of Linux, Git, Bash
- Proficiency in Golang
- Experience in writing Unit Testing
- Good communication skills, English (B2 level)
- Good knowledge and understanding of Docker, Kubernetes
- Good knowledge and understanding of computer networks
