SabreRed360 is Sabre’s flagship point of sale desktop and web application delivered on a new platform (JavaScript, React, TypeScript, Java) dedicated for global markets. We have thousands of customers all over the world. Sabre Red 360 is an access point into the Sabre platform that allows to book and fulfill air, hotel, and car.
Our team is responsible for SR360 non-functional area. We are mostly focused on:
- SR360 performance (CPU/Memory utilization, response times, startup time, server tests)
- SR360 instrumentation implementation (events describing how our application is used by customers)
- Data analytics (SR360 instrumentation big data analytics as essential key for the Product Team in terms of making decisions and planning product development
- We have built our own ELK (Elasticsearch Logstash Kibana) infrastructure. There is local lab in KRK equipped with a lot of hardware dedicated for our needs.
In terms of SR360 instrumentation we work with EDAP database which is currently in the process of migration to Google Cloud.
Our development process is based on Agile, oriented on continuous integration and strongly focused on automation.
We are currently looking for a professional with strong technical skillset, analytical mindset and focus on quality. The responsibilities for this position will cover all aspects of the development cycle and in particular:
- SR360 performance regression (development and metrics analysis)
- QA (quality assurance) for non-functional features (testing and creating automated tests in Java/Groovy, Webdriver)
- Data analytics (data processing and preparing reports)

Responsibilities:
- Testing Sabre Red 360 platform from non-functional (performance) perspective
- QA for SR360 instrumentation
- Data analytics (data processing and preparing reports ) - working with EDAP and ELK to deliver data analytics results
- Investigation of customers non-functional issues based on metrics and logs
- Working with architects to understand development needs, design and implement solution
- Working in cross-functional team with close collaboration
Requirements:
Education:
B.S. degree in Computer Sciences, Information Technology, Engineering or equivalent
Experience:
4+ years’ experience in software development
Must have:
- Good Java coding language knowledge
- Strong analytical skills
- Testing skills
- SQL basics
- Experience in Version Control System (GIT preferred)
- Good written and verbal English communication skills
- Team working skills
Nice to have:
- Webdriver
- Groovy
- Knowledge of Jenkins
- Knowledge of REST and JSON
- Experience with JMeter
- Basics of Linux, bash commands
- Knowledge of ELK (Elasticsearch Logstash Kibana)
- Experience in Continuous Integration tools like TeamCity or Jenkins
