Project
The project concerns electronic payments. It allows network users in different places to buy Digital Products and add the entire amount to their phone bill.
You will
- Be part of distributed, multicultural, and agile tech/product team located in Oslo / Kraków and Trondheim
- Be part of growing technical team (currently 13 engineers)
- Work on building digital payments platforms (direct operator billing) for customers
- Deliver payment solutions for millions of subscribers in Europe and Asia
- Design the new back-end features and extend the existing ones using mainly Java 15 as the main programming language
- Work with modern technical tools mainly from within AWS suite built with Terraform
- Cultivate the best coding practices and cooperate with experienced senior engineers
- Deploy services using only CI/CD practices
- Cooperate with surrounding Telenor|digital product teams like: Identity, Data platforms, and more
- Travel (when it’s possible again) to Oslo and Trondheim
- Work with Apple equipment (computer, keyboard, mouse)
Must have
- At least 4 years of experience with Java Back-end development projects
- Knowledge of REST architectural style
- Experience with Back-end systems support in production mode
- Knowledge or interest in digital payments area (DOB, credit card payments) – alternatively interest in telecommunications protocols like (SMS, smpp)
- Faultless interpersonal skills as well as fluent communication in English
- Java, Docker, large portfolio of AWS tools, Postgresql, Terraform
- Ability to drive the new features independently, without strong supervision
- Knowledge of Lean and Agile software development methodologies (beyond Scrum)
