Currently we are looking for Head of Infrastructure (German Team in Poland) to join one of the biggest banks in Cracow!

Department: IT Infrastructure Delivery

Overview:
The Head of Infrastructure Germany in Poland is a key position in Client's Germany’s strategy to build and manage a team of ITID specialists in Poland.
This leadership role is responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of technology services through management of the ITID specialists based in Poland, the introduction of new ways of working, the development of new nearshoring opportunities and the delivery of new services. This role requires a strong leader with experience of building teams, and managing change and technology in an international environment.

Key Accountabilities:
Define, shape, communicate and lead the execution of the ITID Near- and Offshore Strategy
Ensure we have the right people with the right skills to deliver
Drive the adoption of agile & devops practices across the delivery teams
Foster and champion a culture of continuous improvement & engineering excellence
Work closely with colleagues across ITID to ensure appropriate resource planning in alignment with project delivery demands balanced with the Future State Architecture
Ensure appropriate resource mix and maintain effective relationships with local suppliers, managing local ongoing engagements as required
Motivate, guide and mentor the ITID teams in Cracow
Coordinate the consumption of ITID services out of India
Drive broader employee engagement across ITID Cracow and Pune
Help to ensure that the teams are appropriately resourced for the challenges faced
Manage all entity aspects of the ITID Cracow team
Influence project lifecycle and ensure plans are produced and implemented where appropriate
Assist in the development the leadership team, providing knowledge and skills in specific areas of expertise, providing coaching and sponsoring training solutions where necessary
Assist in the control of concurrent projects and resources that may vary in scale and complexity to meet changing objectives
Manage relationships at a senior level with the wider IT team; as well as engaging and managing relationships with third party suppliers
Accountable for overseeing the safe, secure and sustainable deliveries across the Centre. The role holder must work to minimize production outages, and ensure all change is managed in an effective and sustainable manner. The role holder will work with asset class delivery managers to ensure best practice is adhered to
Responsible for ensuring that all Segregation of Duty and Management Self-Identified Audit Issues and other Risk and Control matters are well managed
 
Requirements:
Excellent communication, co-ordination and interpersonal skills;
Strong leadership and management ability, motivating IT employees;
Successful experience in developing and retaining critical talent and building an effective team
Established financial and accounting acumen;
Proven ability to prioritise competing demands;
Demonstrated ability to assess IT trends;
Good understanding of IT policies, practices and opportunities;
Ability to prioritise work to successfully deliver service to agreed levels in a diverse and constantly changing environment
Outstanding understanding of Group structures, values, behaviours, processes and objectives
Proven ability in working across multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural diverse work environments
Proven ability in successfully identifying, designing and implementing change initiatives
Outstanding relationship management and influencing skills
The ability to recognise structural issues within the organisation, functional interdependencies and enterprise wide spare capacity
High level of drive and motivation to ensure successful delivery of complex transformational initiatives
