Currently we are looking for (Senior) Oracle DBA to join one of the biggest banks in Cracow!
We're looking for someone with proven track record of owning and delivering complex Infrastructure delivery projects under demanding timelines. Our investment in data centers and other physical infrastructure in various regions presents many unique challenges. The Candidate is expected to understand how our infrastructure projects intersect with business, software delivery teams and build awareness and capabilities in those areas. The Candidate is expected to build strong relationships across service line and with our internal partners in other service lines and central聽 teams.
The candidate will join a team of 聽Database administrators who are responsible for building and supporting the infrastruture project deliveries. To cover installation, configuration and maintenance of the infrastructure. The role will include some element of production support of the existing estate and will involve some flexibility for working occasional weekends to cover releases / changes for all CTB related projects & initiatives.
You will perfom the following acitivities
Implement Oracle database environment according to the project requirement and Oracle service pattern offerings, including High Availability and Disaster Recovery options
Operate and maintain large estate of Oracle environments to ensure security, availability, capacity planning and ever-greening
Provide technical consultancy in database design, architecture and project planning
Work closely with / contribute to the global DBA team in driving for standardization and support for global initiatives and projects. These include globalized standard inventory and license usage reporting
Participate in incident / crisis / after hours on-call support to provide speedy recovery of service and the subsequent root cause analysis and the implementation of improvement actions
Maintain technical and reference documentation
Control and manage change / release to ensure quality implementation

Skills Required
Extensive hands-on experience in Oracle database administration including installation / configuration / maintenance / backup & recovery
In-depth knowledge in Oracle technology such Real Application Cluster, Dataguard, GoldenGate, Delphix
Possess multi-DBMS knowledge, especially on Oracle SQLServer, DB2, Mongo, MySQL
Good knowledge in the Unix/Linux environment and monitoring tools.
Knowledge in BMC Patrol, xMatters, Control-M is preferred
Oracle/SQL writing knowledge is an asset
Knowledge on public cloud - AWS, AZURE or GCP is an advantage

Experience & Qualification
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
Relevant experience of 5 years
Naturally accountable and responsible
Self-starting, self-motivated, self-directed, and self-sufficient
Strong facilitation skills
Past infrastructure experience is an added advantage
Storage configuration on Unix/Linux as per group standard
