Regional IT team is part of Technology Services Europe and provides various IT Services to markets across Europe, including but not limited to full life-cycle software manufacturing, deployment and support services as well as change management.
We are currently looking for candidates to support delivery of Architecture Simplification Programme in our markets. The Solution Architect will work with other Architects in the project team, Technical Lead & Engineers to perform architecture assessment, agree the strategy for simplification and support delivery of required outcomes. The Architecture Simplification programme is led in international environment and covers multiple countries in European time zone.
This role will carry out some or all of the following activities:
Architecture assessment to design simplification strategy
Re-design existing services for migration to Data Centre and/or Cloud
Identify technology for migration
Create End to End Data pipeline architecture & design (on-prem & cloud)
Accountable for ensuring the products & services are supported by the right architectures and solutions meet the customer needs
Accountable for ensuring the design of the product solutions are cost effective and maintained through the agile development lifecycle, managing the flow of the backlog of design activities
Convert requirements into actionable product/service requirements that feed Technology solutions development & influence service direction.
Provide technology leadership and mentorship to the development team
Responsible for ensuring solutions are aligned with the platform architecture and roadmap, group standards and policies and the overall enterprise architecture for their function.
Knowledge & Experience:
Experience in designing/architecting n-tier enterprise applications
At least basic level understanding of cloud environment (AWS)
Experience of architecture requirements of large scale, complex transformation programmes
Strong stakeholders’ management skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills with good command of written and spoken English
Familiar with Agile software development lifecycle and methodologies
Good understanding of the banking domain is an advantage
