On behalf of the client, we’re looking for a Backend Engineer with substantial experience with writing functional code for Spring-based JVM apps to work alongside the incredible 20-strong engineering team. Their two-office approach (LA and Poznań) also means that you’ll rarely, if ever, have to be on-call after hours. You can work remotely or from their office in Poznań or mix it up – it’s up to you. They focus on user satisfaction by providing services to handle tremendous traffic. They are a young company that brings together experts and people who know that programming and problem solving are all about fun.
Requirements:
- Expert knowledge of Kotlin, Java, or Scala
- Extensive experience with both relational and NoSQL databases
- Experience in building and scaling architecture of large applications
- Experience in ensuring the security of large applications
- Soft skills, openness to conversations and sharing knowledge and all ideas
- English language proficiency to allow free communication both in writing and speech
Nice to have:
Knowledge of Kubernetes, GCP, service mesh, Ruby, Node.js as well as passions related to 3D and photography
