On behalf of the client, we’re looking for a Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer to join the company’s incredible 20-person engineering team. You can work remotely or from their beautiful office in Poznań or mix it up – it’s up to you. The company is looking to build a core team for a new, nifty product that they plan to introduce in the upcoming months. They are also focused on building a self-serve platform so they can offer their value to even more customers. If you thrive at laying the foundation and being part of building both popular and widely used products, this is definitely the role for you!
Requirements:
- Expert knowledge of Ruby in the context of web applications
- Extensive experience with relational databases
- Experience in building and scaling architecture of large applications
- Experience in ensuring the security of large applications
- Soft skills, openness to conversations, and sharing knowledge and all ideas
- English language proficiency to allow free communication both in writing and speech
Nice to have:
- Interest in and willingness to make use of Ruby's next-generation dry-rb ecosystem
- DevOps related experience (Google Cloud Platform, Terraform, Kubernetes, Istio)
- Experience with Ruby on Rails Frontend stack (Hotwire and Turbo)
- Interest in 3D and photography
