OPERATIONS ENGINEER

FULL TIME FOR THE LOCATION: WARSAW, LUBLIN OR HYBRID
Scope of responsibilities
· Deployment and maintenance of our software installed on Virtual Machines and Containers
· Identification of operational problems
· Monitor and execute/verify housekeeping procedures for each instance
· Maintenance of several customer instances deployed in a cloud, 24/7 mode in a shift pattern
· Monitor database replication and cluster status
· Resolve network and hypervisor issues
· Monitor software performance and resource utilization
Typical working day
· Participate in the full software development cycle: design, develop, test, deploy and maintain
· Communication with the end customer to prepare the environments
What we are looking for
· 2+ years of operations and/or development experience
· Very good knowledge of Linux and Unix tools
· Experience with deployment automation
· Experience with JavaScript or Unix shell programming
· Experience working in an agile development team with a focus on delivering value early
· Good written/spoken English
Nice to have
· Knowledge of at least one of the following technologies: Docker, PostgreSQL, MySQL, public and private clouds
· Experience with auto scalable systems
