Coople is looking for a Front-End Developer to join our growing development team in Poland. Founded in 2009, we are the first on-demand staffing market place, with a big mission to disrupt the traditional staffing industry and make flexible work more attractive. We’ve been successfully doing so by always putting our users first, while leveraging technology to expand their options and allow them to find jobs or workers in real-time, enabling immediate hourly or daily hiring. 

In the future, flexibility will be the defining feature of the world of work. Our digital staffing platform offers choice to ambitious businesses and workers and makes it very simple for them to enter short- or long-term work relationships. The workers love the flexibility and additional income they can generate. Some also use our marketplace to test new employers. Employers can manage spikes in demand and free up management time. Talk about a win-win.

With more than 500,000 registered workers and 20,000 registered clients in the UK and Switzerland, Coople is one of the largest players in the flexible staffing sector in Europe. Backed by investors like Goldman Sachs and One Peak Partners, we are scaling up our team to continue our fast growth. 

The role:
Technology is what gives us the edge over traditional staffing agencies. This role is all about creating intuitive interfaces that give workers and employers the confidence they need to trust technology with some of their most important decisions.

Specific responsibilities include:
  • Analyze requirements; design and estimate work in agile iterative cycles
  • Develop frontend software on AWS for Coople web application using the latest version of Angular
  • Participate in UI concept & design and help build a unique user experience
  • Build high quality software with a strong focus on maintainability
What we’ll expect from you:
  • We’re looking for a developer with the following qualifications:
  • B.Sc., M.Sc. in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of work experience in application development
  • Excellent knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, REST
  • Strong JavaScript skills
  • Good knowledge of Angular
  • Fluent in English both spoken and written; German is an asset
  • AWS experience a strong plus
Furthermore, you:
  • are passionate about building great software with latest technologies
  • strive to write high-quality code that is both maintainable and readable
  • can adapt to existing styles and architectural concepts and further develop them
  • are self-disciplined and willing to constantly improve your skills to build a great platform with great user experience
