Role: Lead Cloud Engineer (AWS)

- Budget: up to 1250 PLN net+VAT/day/B2B or employment contract, negotiable depending on skills and experience

We are looking for an experienced AWS expert who will co-lead the design, development and scaling of data pipelines as well as data modeling are core parts of the daily job supporting data scientists, ML engineers, SME and architects in order to drive business impact.
In this interdisciplinary setup, there is an opportunity to shape the vision and advancement of tools and technologies to create a state-of-the art work environment that facilitates building big data solutions and enabling business to leverage analytics capabilities in order to make time-sensitive as well as critical decisions.
The Lead Cloud Engineer role is a key role on the project. In addition, we are also looking for 3 Analytics Engineers (Data Engineers) for this project.
What skills and qualifications are important to us?
- Knowledge in core Cloud (AWS/Azure/Google) services, architecture, uses and best practices
- Proficient in developing, deploying and trouble shooting cloud based applications
- Knowledge in Cloud (AWS/Azure/Google) security and scalability
- About 4+ years of experience in Cloud (AWS/Azure/Google)
- Previous exposure to large-scale systems design
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Experience with building or maintaining cloud-native applications
- Proficiency writing code for serverless applications
- Ability to use or interact with Cloud (AWS/Azure/Google) services
- In-depth knowledge of at least one high-level programming language
- Ability to use the Cloud (AWS/Azure/Google) service APIs, Cloud (AWS/Azure/Google) CLI, and SDKs to write applications
- Ability to identify key features of Cloud (AWS/Azure/Google) services
- Ability to act as a technical advisor for Cloud (AWS/Azure/Google) related issue/tasks
- Ability to architect solutions for Cloud (AWS/Azure/Google)
- High proficiency in English
