ABOUT THE PROJECT
For our Client, global leader in the online comparison market, whose goal is to simplify decision-making and connect customers with valuable brands, we are looking for data cloud engineer that will help build and operate the data platform of the company. The aim is to support analytics & reports, cloud operations, improve on-going critical tasks and other data needs.
Tech Stack: Python, SQL and NoSql DBs, AWS, Kafka, Java
Agile: Kanban
Start: ASAP
Location: 100% Remote, (after the Covid situation there is a plan to ocasionally visit Tel Aviv)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Use your skills and experience to build, improve and support the main big data platform and data warehouse.
- Use, Build, Maintain and Support the big data frameworks such as AWS cloud services, Redshift, Druid, Airflow, k8s, Pipelines.
- Operate and monitor high scale projects with end to end responsibility
- Work closely with the data infra, data apps and BI teams
- Develop tools to monitor, analyze, maintain and improve data operation, performance, and usability
REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 2 years experience in Python or equivalent language
- Proven experience in building, optimizing, and maintaining large scale big data pipelines.
- Strong SQL abilities and hands on experience with SQL and NoSql DBs
- Experience with AWS cloud services such as EMR, Redshift, S3, Athena, Glue - advantage
- Experience in Java - advantage
- Experience in stream processing frameworks such as Kafka
- Experience with Databases technologic - advantage
