OBJECTIVE OF THE JOB
You will be a key part of the development team for our software for doing payroll management for the German market.
You will work closely with the Product Owners and with the rest of the development team to take the requirements and add them to the software and database design.
You will also be required to investigate any bugs and issues reported and work to resolve them with the rest of the team and the Operations department if needed.
Development follows Agile Scrum methodology - as a member of the team you will be helping to achieve the sprint goals.
The software has been in development for many years getting to large scale and complexity. You will be expected to gain an understanding of how it works and what it does for users to allow you to give important contributions to the future design and technical direction of the software.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Dependable and key member of the development team.
- Ability to understand requirements as presented by the Product Owners and ask any questions.
- Translation of these requirements into software design: Objects, screens, etc.
- Work closely with the rest of the development team and testers to deliver high quality software.
- Investigate of bugs/issues reported by customers.
- Database Management.
- Translation of the requirements into database tables.
- Modification of the database design: new tables, triggers, update scripts, etc.

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- High level of experience in Borland/Embarcadero Delphi
- Experience in using interfaces in Delphi is useful
- Some knowledge of C#/.Net beneficial
- General competence in software development and IT in general
- Fluent in English / Good communication skills. German language is a plus.
- Good analysis and problem solving skills
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Work proactively in a small team with a can-do attitude
COMPETENCIES
- Good level of experience of using Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Adobe, PowerPoint
- Knowledge of/interest in payroll is useful
- Fast learning and general aptitude to knowing more about the business side of the software

SALLARY
UoP: 10 000 – 19 000 PLN
Hourly B2B rate: 90 - 180 PLN
