Currently, we are looking for a Node.js Developer to join our Swedish partner Teamtailor, one of the hottest start-ups in the area of recruitment & employer branding ATS. Teamtailor develops a SaaS platform used by 4k+ companies, from small to enterprise and across all markets ?
Team:
You will be a part of a Product team of 30 people spread over Europe. You will join 4 developers in the Integrations Team. Three of them are based in Kraków and one in Warsaw. You will work in an agile way and cooperate with open-minded people who are specialists in their areas. The team is mainly based in Kraków and meets up on a regular basis. If you're not based in Kraków, you have to be able to travel there from time to time.
Responsibilities:
As a Developer in the Integrations Team, you will be responsible for integrations with Teamtailor's partners from all over the world. We believe you have working experience with Node.js and feel comfortable in this area to take initiatives and decisions on what's the best way forward. Together with your team members, you will plan the work that needs to be done and ship awesome features.
Examples of work you will do in a normal workday:
- Build integrations with partner APIs in JavaScript
- Develop import tools
- Set up and configure integrations
- Shape and integrate according to API documentation
- Plan your work and communicate with partners all around the world like DocuSign, Hackerrank, BambooHR, and Scrive to name a few. And more to come!
Your primary focus will be on:
- Javascript
- Node.js
Besides, you will have a chance to work with technologies such as:
- Serverless / AWS lambda
- Express.js
- API integrations
- Jest (Test)
- Ruby
Qualities we look for:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- At least 1-2 years of working experience with server-side JavaScript
- Agile and pragmatic mindset
- Readiness to take responsibility and grow yourself & the people around you
- Team player that appreciates and value collaborative work
- Eager to learn new things. The industry is constantly evolving so in order to be up to date, you must be flexible, adapt, and keep on improving.
- Bonus if you have worked in an agile team on a SaaS product
How does Teamtailor work?
At Teamtailor the developers and the designers have full responsibility for the whole project in 6 weeks cycles, which means that all team members have great input for building an awesome product. This means that you have a big say, big flexibility but also a large responsibility so you need to like this ?
Since Teamtailor has product teams spread over Europe, communication is the key to getting everything working well. For this, we use tools like Slack, Zoom, Tuple, and Notion in daily work to name a few.
Every year we are organizing a company trip to get to know each other even more and we have at least one product team get together every year.
