Our current team of around 30 engineers, working within 5 scrum teams is located in The Hague and Gdansk. The team consists of the best and brightest across fields, from industry experts, to digital designers, to developers. And we are united by a single mindset – one that encourages creativity, risk-taking, and a “take charge” attitude. Currently we are hiring for the Gdansk (Poland) office and we do like to see each other live in the office from time to time :)Â

WHAT WILL YOU DO:
Design & build resilient and scalable architectures.
Develop tools & systems that reduce toil and repetitive work.
Work closely with product development teams to define and monitor SLOs, implement the corresponding SLIs and establish error budget policies.
Boost product developer productivity by optimizing our CI/CD systems and release processes.
Learn from outages in the best way possible.
Evangelize SRE concepts throughout the organisation.
Constantly grow, teach and learn, and stay up to speed with the latest tools and techniques in an ever-changing technological landscape.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
There is no one way to go about the work and everyone is different. But to be successful in this role, this is the kind of profile we are looking for:
You have the capability to read and write code and have a good understanding of software engineering principles in general. You are either a software engineer with strong operational knowledge, or an IT operations person with strong software development skills, both will do.
The languages used in our stack are Java, Javascript and Golang.
You possess architecting skills and have experience with building resilient and scalable cloud architectures in a public cloud provider, preferably GCP (but AWS or Azure will also do!).
You are super comfortable working with Docker & Kubernetes.
You are no stranger to infra-as-code principles and have experience with tools like Terraform.
You have a solid foundation in Linux administration and troubleshooting.
You know the ins and outs of a microservice architecture. Familiarity or experience with service mesh technologies is an advantage.
You are an observability expert. Think Prometheus, Thanos, Grafana, Loki & Jaeger.Â
You have the willingness to participate in the on-call rotation and you have experience with incident response processes.
