Our team is responsible to deliver a modern, omni-channel, real-time retailing shopping experience for low-cost carriers (LCC). Enhance direct offer capabilities to drive airline yield. LCC requires low cost and highly configurable flexible eCommerce capabilities and provide the ability for LCC to process Offer and Order transactions. Provide reduced cost through consolidation of common components including consolidation of an offer management system.
This is a unique opportunity to work on a critical and operationally complex high-performance product that also interacts with several mission-critical products.
You will
- Identify technical design and clarify implementation
- Review code to聽ensure meeting of Definition of Done
- Develop, code, test and debug new moderately complex software solutions or enhancements to聽existing software in a聽maintenance capacity
- Design and code critical system components in accordance with established coding standards and guidelines
- Create new ideas to聽improve application performance and stability
- Mentor and guide team members
- Work collaboratively with the team across geographical locations
- Resolve customer complaints with software and respond to聽suggestions for improvements and enhancements
- Effectively work in interaction with other developers, QA, and business analysts
- Develop applications for cloud computing, design, maintain and operate cloud systems/microservices and applications
- Keep cloud systems secure, fully tested, and integrated with all the other products/applications, understand the language of business, and develop to聽address the business鈥檚 needs
Must have
- Minimum 5+ years of work experience
- Bachelor鈥檚 degree in computer science or a聽related field
- Experience in Cloud deployments, preferably in GCP
- Ability to聽act quickly under pressure to聽investigate and resolve real-time issues
Nice to have
- Travel industry knowledge as the advantage
- The ability to聽trace and respond to聽unexpected events
- Good communication and coordination skills
