We are looking for a passionate Linux Platform Engineer to join one of our Scrum teams.
You will
You will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of Continuous Integration pipelines for applications that provide solutions for public safety communication systems compliant with the APCO-25 standard.
Must have
- Practical knowledge of RedHat7 & RedHat8
- Practical knowledge of Linux operating systems from user and administrator perspectives
- Very good troubleshooting skills, an analytic approach to given tasks and problems
- Min. 1-year experience in programming
- Practical knowledge of GIT
- Experience with Continuous Integration tools, preferably Jenkins
- Experience in Linux OS as a user
- Effective verbal and written English communication skills
- Ability to work in a Scrum team
Nice to have
- RedHat/Linux troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of scripting languages (ex. Python, Perl)
- Practical knowledge of VMWare virtualization (ESXi)
- Practical knowledge of Maven or Gradle
- Experience with AWS
- Practical knowledge of Docker
