The team is looking for an experienced Java Developer. The team is working on critical highly available web application that鈥檚 key to聽Travel Solutions business. We聽provide a聽seamless solution for accessing our products through single sign-on and federation solution.
Join us to聽work in collocated Agile team in Krakow, which use modern technology stack to聽provide new features, better user experience, scalability and fault-tolerance to聽critical system.
You will
- Work in the team of 4-5 engineers (SWE, QA)
- Develop and maintain set of application components (decoupling the monolith)
- Follow commonly used practices e.g.: unit testing, automation testing, secure product development, etc.
- Improve application stability and performance
- Work with product team to聽understand business requirements and building solutions
- Participate in code reviews and developer testing to聽ensure quality
- Develop your skills and help to聽grow your teammates
- Assist in troubleshooting application / tests / delivery pipeline issues
Must have
- Technically savvy in software engineering field
- Experience with coordinating work in software engineering field
- Experience with聽GIT, Maven聽and聽CI/CD聽pipelines
- Strong聽Selenium, Java聽and聽SQL聽knowledge and experience
- Good understanding of聽xUnit聽(e.g.聽JUnit, TestNG) test frameworks
- Strong experience with code refactoring
- Experience working in Agile environment
- Strong communication in English
Nice to have
- Good knowledge of common web application security concepts
- Practical understanding of Agile development principles and practices
- Hands on experience with Docker, K8s
- Hands on experience with GCP or AWS cloud platforms
- Experience with SOAP WS development
- Working knowledge of Git
