About OANDA
Billions of dollars worth of trading volume are transacted through OANDA鈥檚 platforms every day. Founded in 1996, we became the first company to share exchange rate information on the internet free of charge. In 2001 we launched a trading platform that helped pioneer the development of online-based trading around the world, enabling forex and CFD investors the ability to trade the financial markets.
Opportunity
The role is based in Krakow, Poland - you can work remotely or from the office. The internship will start in June/July 2022 and will last for 3 months.
You will be reporting to the Technical Team Leader and you will be primarily responsible for contributing to the existing codebase (adding new features, testing existing functionality, participating in agile meetings)
What you can expect:
- To be part of company-wide trading Bootcamp sessions,
- To develop a full feature and have released it to production
- To work with React, React Native, Google Cloud, GraphQL, Python, Microservices聽
- To work with Java 11+ and Spring Boot 2
Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of front-end and back-end paradigms
- A solid foundation in Computer Science
- Software development experience in Python,Javascript or Java
- Unit test and debugging skills
- Experience with Git or other version control systems
- Contributions to an open-source project (of any kind)
- English B2
