We’re looking for an Engineering Manager for our software engineering team. You’ll be supporting up to 10 engineers. You’ll be reporting to the Head of Engineering Managers.

You will:
- Manage a group of around 10 individual contributors on varied levels of experience
- Help engineers and project leaders grow under Appsilon Career Paths framework (https://go.appsilon.com/career-paths)
- Solve interpersonal and organizational problems raised by your team members
- Help with technical and organizational issues
- Set expectations, deliver performance reviews for the people you manage
- Build trusting relationships and a friendly engineering culture of collaboration, knowledge sharing and problem solving mindset

What we expect from you:
- Programming background (but no specific technology required)
- Experience in working in a software house or a start-up environment
- Experience in mentoring other people (not necessarily software engineers)
- Passionate about modern engineering management and helping people grow
- Proficient English. Good written communication.
