Our Customer is one of the world’s well-known IT companies, with a portfolio of tools used widely in IT industry. Our client develops products for software engineers, project managers, and content management. At this moment, the SoftServe team is working on nearly 45+ different subprojects/products for this client.
At this stage, we are going to build new engagement between companies from scratch, onboard customer’s products, and grow the team internally in SoftServe.inc. Our team will be an independent consulter and will implement best practices for customers’ main product release management. The goal is to put new versions of products into customers’ hands and make the process easier & reliable through constant and continuous improvements.
You’ll be joining a team that is highly engaged and direct. We help each other to constantly improve our work and help each other reach our potential. We also going to support you with the assistance of our 280+ Engineers working with this client. So we are searching for an experienced and talented DevOps Engineer who would be passionate to join our team.
YOU ARE
From our candidate, we expect solid experience and knowledge in the following directions
- DevOps practices and the related skillset
- Solid expertise in Configuration as Code
- Scripting everything: fluency in Python and Bash
- Designing CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins, etc.)
- Knowledge of release management
- A concept of version control systems, preferably GIT
- 'You build it, you own it' attitude
- Customer focus, detail orientation, and good analytical thinking
- Readiness to drive a new opportunity
- Upper-Intermediate English level
Nice-to-have experience
- Platform/Infrastructure-As-a-Service providers, such as AWS & Azure
- Running and troubleshooting production services
- Build and release management tools: Maven, Gradle
- Common knowledge of Java
