Responsibilities:
- Development of data related instruments and instances across all the phases of SDLC, including research, design, testing, integration, and rollout
- Solving technical issues and troubleshoot systems at scale. Identify ways to improve data reliability, efficiency and quality
- Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
- Interacting with Solution Architect, Customers and other External Stakeholders as a consultant and spokesperson
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Python and data pipelines orchestration (ie. Airflow)
- Experience with online and offline data processing tools and technologies
- Strong SQL/NoSQL skills to handle large data sets transformations
- A pragmatic mindset, not afraid of making mistakes, and learning from them
- SOLID principles, Clean Code practices
Additional Assets:
- Familiarity of cloud computing on AWS (S3, Athena, EMR, Redshift, etc)
- Experience with business intelligence toolset (ie. Tableau)
- Openness to new technologies and languages (ie. JVM based languages)
- Working knowledge of Agile approach and DevOps practices
