In this role, you鈥檒l use your extensive knowledge of JavaScript and related frameworks like React to improve Survicate surveys seen by over聽1,000 people per minute. You鈥檒l engineer for usability, scalability, maintainability, and performance. Fixing even the tiniest bug means improving user-experience for thousands of respondents. The release of a new feature makes a huge impact on how easily thousands of companies around the world are able to collect and act upon collected feedback.

In a typical week as a Front-end Engineer at Survicate you鈥檒l:
- Write code that will impact thousands of people every day
- Collaborate with backend engineers to spec, write, test, and deploy code that integrates with real-time data streams and API endpoints
- Brainstorm features with product managers and designers and guide decisions based on your knowledge of the codebase
- Assist our skilled Customer Success team in triaging bugs and solving issues in production in your primary area
- Learn about and use new web technologies
- Like the work you do, enjoy collaborating with your coworkers, and finish work on time
Your skills and experience:
- Several years of experience writing core JavaScript code (experience with聽TypeScript聽is a nice-to-have)
- Experience building responsive layouts with CSS (SASS) and HTML
- Experience with modern browser technologies (React, Vue is a nice-to-have)聽
- Experience working with a large codebase
- UX and design sensibilities
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- You鈥檙e good at estimating required development effort and have the self-discipline to deliver things on time
- You鈥檙e familiar with engineering practices and write well-tested and high-quality code
- You鈥檙e eager to work on architecture with other senior engineers
- You鈥檙e eager to learn & share your knowledge among other developers in the company
- You鈥檙e someone who would stay with us for years and not just for one project
