Responsibilities
In this position, you will be responsible for performance engineering including testing and monitoring of the client鈥檚 Hospitality Solution鈥檚 most mission-critical systems:
- You will join a聽team that is building and executing various types of performance tests to聽help determine stability and capacity across various high volume and heavily integrated applications and architectures
- Your primary responsibility will be to create and maintain test harnesses to inject load, analyze metrics from application and system logs, and simulate system behaviour based on the production workload of these applications
- You will need to聽evaluate application architectures and design suitable performance and stability tests
- You will need to聽collect and report results both accurately and effectively to聽Development, QA, and System owners
Must have
- Minimum聽5 years聽related experience with Enterprise systems (Linux/Windows) performance measurement analysis and performance measurement tools
- A聽solid understanding of high transaction relational databases is required
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows/Linux operating system, Windows Services is required
- An understanding of聽SOAP/XML聽Web Services, Service Oriented Architecture, and distributed messaging systems is required
- Practised in applying statistical analysis techniques to accurately estimate and evaluate application workloads; expert in applying rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions
- Proficient in sequence modelling using UML standards
- Prior experience with memory management and Garbage Collection algorithms for server-side applications in聽Java/C#聽preferred
- Bachelor鈥檚 degree or equivalent with 3 years experience in a聽performance testing/engineering role
