You will
- Develop, code, test, and debug new moderately complex software solutions or enhancements to聽existing software in a聽maintenance capacity
- Have a聽good understanding of the business application
- Work with technical staff to聽understand problems with software and resolve them
- Resolve customer complaints with software and responds to聽suggestions for improvements and enhancements
- Assist in the development of software technical documentation
- Design and code moderately complex applications using routine and/or advanced technology
- Create optimization programs to聽resolve problems
- Design and build prototype applications
Must have
- Experience聽4-7 years聽in developing聽Java
- Be fully proficient with聽Java聽programming language and various聽Java EE聽technologies
- Thorough knowledge and hands-on experience with聽Spring, Hibernate,聽and web services is a聽must
- Demonstrated knowledge of聽Object Oriented Analysis and Design
- Experience in聽XML/Web Services聽technologies
- Understanding of relational databases聽(Oracle, SQL)
- Demonstrated knowledge of Linux operating systems
- Strong communication skills in English, written and verbal
Nice to have
- Experience with build tools聽Ant/Maven/Gradle
- Experience with聽Apache Camel and/or ServiceMix
- Experience in聽JMS/MOM, JBoss, JMX, and Drools聽a聽plus
- Agile experience is a聽plus
- Understanding of TDD practices and experience with JUnit/Unit Testing
