Project
Our product is an innovative Point of Sale Platform, used globally by travel agencies for their reservations management processes. It delivers desktop and web experience in a single product.

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer, that could take a Software Engineer Lead position in our team. The role requires strong technical and leadership skills, we seek a Person that will offer mentorship to younger team members and will be able to work with the architecture and product teams. We offer independence in technical decisions making, the possibility to influence the shape of the products, architecture, processes, and other platform areas.

You will

• Offer expertise in software development to team members, acts as a mentor
• Present a positive attitude to the team. Takes care of team-building activities
• Work with the architecture team, present solutions, and prove they make value for our product
• Work with the product team while defining requirements, and product roadmap. Translate technical details into business language and vice-versa
• Present strong expertise in technologies like programming languages, tools, processes
• Perform code reviews
• Bring best practices, enterprise standards, microservices architecture mindset, and API implementation methodologies to the product technology stack
• Work independently designing and developing complex new products or major enhancements to existing software

Must have

• At least 8+ years of experience in the software development industry as an engineer
• Master’s degree in computer science or similar experience
• Solid experience with Java, J2EE, Spring
• Solid experience with React, Typescript, JavaScript
• Experience with Microservices / Cloud-based development
• Experience in designing complex distributed software systems
• Ability to work with complex technical topics and develop solutions
• Experience with OSGi/Eclipse RCP is a plus
• Good understanding of security-related topics
• Excellent skills in English
• Being highly ethical, having very high moral standards, showing mutual respect, working well across global teams, sharing knowledge, and being an excellent team player within and outside the team.
