We are currently looking for a Fullstack Developer who will be part of the team for the development of a booking platform belonging to the world's largest travel club present in over 20 countries on three continents. The company focuses on strategic development, modern processes, Agile methodology, and test-driven development.
As a Fullstack Developer, you’ll be responsible for working with the team to refine and deliver features and improvements to our users. You will be improving key areas of our web application to help our users book the holiday they dream of.
You will be expected to:
- Write high-quality code using test-driven development.
- Work on both frontend and backend codebases.
- Be involved in the full lifecycle of the ticket, from ideation through to QA and release.
- Review others' code and mentor less experienced members of the team.
- Be involved in architectural discussions.
- Contribute to the direction and continuous improvement of the team.
Requirements:
- Expertise in web application development using Grails or similar technologies, e.g. Spring Boot and Hibernate.
- Fluency in Java or Groovy.
- Experience in working with relational databases such as MySQL. Some knowledge of NoSQL storage solution like Remis and MongoDB would be beneficial as well.
- Frontend skills - React.js and other Javascript libraries and frameworks, CSS, HTML.
- Experience with object oriented programming, design patterns and distributed systems design.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to adjust your style based on the audience.
