Our client has been a leader in advanced safety for over 20 years. During these years they’ve had many other industry firsts, which are helping the industry realize safer and more convenient mobility solutions. Their flexible and scalable solutions are helping to accelerate the adoption of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) globally, enabling new functionality with maximum reuse.

Their expertise in central compute platforms, sensing and perception systems, and high-speed, high-reliability power and data distribution are helping them deliver smarter, safer, and more integrated solutions, both outside the vehicle with advanced active safety systems – as well as in the cabin through enhanced user experiences.

You will

• Develop and implement radar-based assistant systems for mass production
• Interact with customers as well as internal development departments
• Analyse customer requirements on a system level and proper SW-requirements development plus the generation of documentation according to development processes
• Support of internal testing and validation, via simulation and as well online in the prototype vehicle
• Configurate and customer-specific software development incl. software issue resolving to improve the KPI-Value
• Track and solve issues using state-of-the-art (JIRA) ticket systems
• Perform onsite support of customer meetings and workshops (within Germany and across Europe)

Must have

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or comparable
• Experience in software development using Matlab, C, or C++
• Being a team player with communication abilities, commitment, a high degree of flexibility, and personal initiative
• Willingness to occasional travels within Germany and Europe

Nice to have

• Experience in analyzing and deriving system requirements to software requirements in coordination with a software architect
• Experience in the application of driver assistance systems
• Experience in the area of radar signal and/or image processing
