Job Responsibilities:
- Develop testing approaches
- Plan and document succession planning within scope of responsibility
- Develop test plans, including test conditions and expected results, test cases, and test scripts
- Identify test data requirements and work with other teams as needed to create and maintain test data
- Â Execute testing, including documentation of test results and defects
- Assist in defect troubleshooting and resolutionÂ
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of software testing tools
- Create, run, and maintain reports to measure and track testing metricsÂ
- Stay up-to-date on software application testing tools and best practices
- Deliver quality and testing process training to IT staff and project teamsÂ
- Mentor peers to help them build capabilities
- Oversee and participate in quality and testing audits across the various IT functions to ensure quality and testing standards, procedures and methodologies are being followed properly and consistentlyÂ
- Â Improve efficiency of team
Key accountability:
• Perform documentation (specification) testing
• Design test scenarios and test plans for eStore Platforms
• Record and document test results and compare to expected results
• Detect Application failures so that defects may be discovered and corrected
• Check whether the requirements are reflected and whether the defect found in the development stage is detected or not
• Check the correlation between the changed function and the basic function in an independent environment,
• Check the completeness of the function through compatibility test
• Setup and continuous improvement of QA-related processes
• Manage the proper maintenance for staging environments
Qualification:
• Bachelor's degree required in computer science, software engineering
• Must have knowledge of QA tests on web application tests
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem solving skills required
Experience:
• 3 years of manual QA testing on Web Application System (incl. developing test documentation)
• Using Test/Defect Management SW
• Command Line Interface (Linux Shell, PC Shell) for Server, Cloud Computing Environment and SW Installation Test
• REST API, SOAP API and related software (Postman, SOAP UI)
• Jira, Confluence (or alternatives)
• Code version control systems – Git, Mercurial, SVN
• Proficient in SQL
• World-wide test certification (CSTE, ISTQB, and etc.) is an advantage
• SAP Commerce (SAP Hybris, hybris) experience is an advantage
