Key Responsibilities:
- Creating Looker users
- Monitoring Looker Users and maintaining them within the allowed threshold
- A dminister L ooker instances and trouble shoot any performance issues
- Design and develop Looker dashboards, reports and Looks
- Design data models with Looker language according to business requirements and user needs
- Maintaining and supporting the solution built by development team
- Work with the team to understand and define data models for Looker
- Understanding of Data Pipelines and ETL processes to trouble shoot any issues
Core Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of data analysis and visualization and extensive experience with BI Technologies with expertise in SQL, Looker and DBT
- Strong understanding of data modelling, data warehousing, ETL processes, and analytics
- Strong experience with debugging and issue resolution
- Ability to synthesize large amounts of information/data and translate into an easily understood story, with the ability to understand the important balance between art and science
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills with great attention to detail
- Degree in Computer science, engineering, or prior experience as a BI Developer
- Strong understanding of data marketing knowledge
- Experience working with large datasets and distributed systems
