TPF Connector (TPFC)聽is a critical, high availability system that allows the Sabre Host to be Web Service enabled via XML. The main purpose of TPFC is to convert XML requests into Host commands, send requests to Host, receive response and convert it back into XML. It handles Sabre command line formats, SDS conversion, and screen responses behind the scenes, thereby eliminating the need for developers to deal with the proprietary command line interface of the Sabre Host system.
A few numbers characterizing TPFC:
- 90 services
- 300 service versions
- 5000 tps
- 400 milion transactions a day
We are looking for a curious Java Engineer who would like to learn, extend or master his expertise in high availability systems, participate in tech modernization and enjoy ride from on-premise to the GCP.
Responsibilities:
- Developing new and perfecting existing orchestrated APIs (SOAP/REST)
- Troubleshooting reported issues (debugging, analyzing logs and performance reports)
- Collaboration with testing and operations teams on delivering the releases
- Support/participate in moving TPFC into the Google Cloud

- Min. 2 years of experience in working with Java (we use Java 8) accompanied with knowledge about the JVM
- Experience working with Maven, Spring, Git

- Experience practicing TDD and applying Clean Code principles will be greatly appreciated
- Experience with an IDE will be a plus (we prefer IntelliJ idea)

- Ability to speak and write in English on a communicative level
- Or determined enough to quickly learn any of the above to effectively perform new duties.
