Currently we are looking for Senior .NET / Angular Developer to join one of the biggest banks in Cracow!
In Markets and Security Services IT we use technology to power up the investment bank of our client – the business generating millions of transactions across a range of financial markets. The IT teams design and develop systems covering all aspects of fair and open trading between institutions, governments and international companies. We emphasise on small Agile teams with strong ownership of the application lifecycle and product development. Teams deliver iteratively a working piece of product, being responsible for everything from the requirements to the development and running it in production. If we build it, we own it.
Main Duties:
Design and implement quantitative tools and resources to high standards using test driven development techniques
Provide 3rd line of Technical Support for the team’ application
Contribute to the strategic vision for building up the team’s development infrastructure
Manipulate large and complex data sets
Work closely with colleagues in the development team, onshore teams and end users
Follow best software development practices to ensure high quality product and adherence to design objectives
Actively engage with other team members for development projects and contribute to team discussions on development issues
Provide prompt resolution of problem issues related to the relevant software
Requirements:
University graduateÂ
Solid experience in development of complex Angular (7.x) based applications in micro-services environment
Solid experience in .NET/C#
Knowledge of cloud concepts (i.e. GCP, PCF)
Knowledge of database design (RDBMS, Object Store(S3), KV (HBASE))
Experience in data streaming pipeline such as Apache Beam or Apache Spark frameworks would be additional advantage
Exposure to any Reporting/Analytics (QlikSense / Qlikview), would be additional advantage
Very good analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem solving
Effective team player with excellent communication skills
Proactivity and drive to constantly develop and learn new skills
A good understanding of Financial Markets, Derivatives and Banking would be seen as a strong positive but is not essential
