Our client system is handling flight travel requests from travel agents, online agencies and airlines, returning huge number of results based on optimized and customized controls. This complex organism consisting of several components developed mainly in C++ is maintaining a rate of nearly six thousand TPS and is hosted on hundreds of boxes. The complexity of business logic requires constant focus on optimization and the demand for processing power and high response times imposes the use of the newest, optimal and scalable technologies. Intellisell is an orchestrator of air shopping flow and is part of a critical system. We are focused to create innovative, scalable, highly optimized solutions. Salary: up to 1100 PLN net + VAT / MD
Job is 100% remote, but if you prefer to work from the office in Kraków - it's not a problem.
Responsibilities
- Under general direction, develop, code, test and debug new complex software solutions or enhancements to existing software in a maintenance capacity
- Design and code complex applications using advanced technology
- Resolve customer complaints with software and respond to suggestions for improvements and enhancements
- Assess and recommend the best technical solutions for complex projects
- Create new ideas to improve application performance and stability
- Control quality of coding and implementation of implemented solution
Qualifications
- Excellent knowledge of C++ programming in UNIX/Linux environment, 5 years of C++ experience
- Very good knowledge of STL, boost libraries, object-oriented design and design patterns
- Knowledge and experience of relational database programming
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Good English communication skills (written and verbal required)
Nice to have skills
- Knowledge and experience of make and UNIX shell and scripting languages
- Web technologies, XML, XSLT
- Knowledge of TCP/IP networking
- Practical knowledge and will to gain experience in Java
