What you'll do as a Senior Backend Developer
As a Java/Python Developer Developer, you will be responsible for the technical architecture and development of the back-end services of our client. You will be joining a team of front-end and back-end engineers, QA designers, and product owners who believe in making great products and have all the technical skills to make it happen. If you're the kind of person who wants to challenge the status quo rather than accept it, you'll do great here. Your responsibilities will also include:
Build the best software for gastronomers
Work on multiple backend projects written in Python and Java
Write maintainable, comprehensive, and testable code
Provide technical leadership, direction, and mentoring
Share, demo, and document your knowledge, and learn from your colleagues
Taking the feature concept into code, tests and release it to the customers
Strive for continuous improvement for yourself and within the team
Do you have what it takes?
Must-haves
5+ years of professional experience in either Python or Java, and acceptable experience with the other language
Strong experience developing APIs and microservices
The ability to make architectural decisions that will result in scalable, reliable, and performant systems
Experience with Agile methodologies, ideally SCRUM
Experience with automated CD
Be enthusiastic about software development for resilient, high availability systems
Be open and willing to learn from mistakes
Fluent English is a must
