About the role,

 

As one of our Frontend Engineers you will help shape and scale our online travel platform, with modern software engineering, analytics and product practices. You will take part in introducing the best technologies available today - Cloud Native Applications, Microservices, Big Data Analytics, AI, and DevOps best practices - all managed with agile processes. 

 

We build our Frontends with i.a TypeScript, React, Vue.js, React Native, Nuxt, gRPC/REST/GraphQL Apis, Styled Components/SCSS, and MaterialUI.

What will you be doing?

 

  • You will be a part of the engineering team responsible for all aspects of the platform’s frontend ecosystem: creating new features, testing, bug fixing, performance and deployment,

  • You will translate requirements, designs and wireframes into inspiring user experiences, 

  • You will build responsive, high-performance, modern web applications with a variety of frameworks, languages, web and cloud technologies on top of JAMstack approach and micro-frontend concept,

  • Write technical documentation of code, algorithms and APIs,

  • You will participate in project meetings to identify, evaluate and implement frontend best practices.

 

What skills should you have?

 

  • 3-5 years of production software development experience in working with frontend technologies including modern web protocols,

  • Strong understanding of software engineering principles, testing, data structures,

  • Expert in React and/or familiar with one or more other modern JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js, React Native, 

  • Experience in developing high performance, reliable web applications using gRPC, REST/GraphQL APIs,

  • Experience in implementing RWD and complex layouts,

  • Strong supporter of Clean Code,

  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, TypeScript, or similar will be your strong asset,

  • Able to work with Agile methodologies such as SCRUM and Kanban,

  • Good communication and collaboration skills,

  • Self motivated and able to work in a fast-paced startup environment,

  • Proficient in English.
