We're looking for a backend software engineer for a research and development startup. Their ambitious goal is to build a system capable of understanding knowledge, answering questions, and getting things done.
Requirements:
- Backend software engineering experience
- Experience with functional programming
- CI/CD
- Willingness to learn new technologies
Nice to have:
- Bayesian statistic
- Symbolic Computing
- Python/R
- Experience with Rust, OCaml, Clojure, Haskell, or C++
- Experience with Julia programming language
Responsibilities:
- Implement interfaces based on mock-ups
- Pay attention to design and usability
- Write clean and performant code in Julia
- Write comprehensive tests
