Project
Our team is responsible for several levels of message processing starting from basic service level gateway functions like routing, security, throttling, through to more complex integration with legacy systems, and finally, complex federated services routing between multiple datacenters and cloud providers. Every day we process 2+ billion transactions, with a peak of 30 thousand transactions per second. Stability is our key, thus we invest a lot in innovative ideas that can help to maintain our systems healthy.
You will
- Design, develop and test Web Services back-end systems
- Assist in problem-solving in both development and production environments
- Provide support to teams that use the developed application
- Assist in development of software technical documentation
- Provide technical guidance to other team members
Must have
- Proven experience in developing Java applications (Spring)
- Understanding of microservices designs and service-oriented architectures
- Experience with SOAP and REST
- Experience in working with distributed Agile teams
- Good English communication skills
Nice to have
- Experience with containerization-based technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift
- Experience using cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services
- Understanding of various delivery pipeline approaches (CI/CD)
- Experience with Jetty, Tomcat, and JMS
- Experience with build tools (Maven, Gradle)
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB)
- Experience in back-end applications development
- Experience with branching strategies (GIT, SVN, other SCM tools)
