Job description
We are looking for an experienced Embedded Developer that will help our team establish Embedded practice in Altimetrik Poland.
We work with clients from all over the world, whom we support in digital transformation. You will have the opportunity to work with multiple technology stacks and projects. We are continuously building a team of both experienced engineers and great leaders with engineering background.
Responsibilities
- Execute the requirements, design, implementation, and verification of assigned projects within maintained tool sets and using sound engineering principles.
- Specifying, designing, and implementing functionality and behaviours of embedded subsystems.
- Debugging and analyzing problems related to the operation of hardware and embedded software.
- Suggest and implement improvements when needed in order to unblock future development.
- Analyzing and improving the security of embedded systems.
- Documenting and reporting on work progress.
Skills
- Relevant work experience within embedded software development.
- Experience with writing low-level drivers, interrupting service routines, and general troubleshooting/debugging with hardware.
- Proficiency in at least one leading embedded programming languages (preferably C/C++ and/or Python)
- Ability to communicate technical ideas with peers and non-technical peers.
- Strong fundamentals in algorithm design, problem solving, complexity analysis and data structures.
- Strong technical aptitude, including applicable engineering tools and systems.
- Knowledge of modern approaches to software development (including TDD, Agile, design patterns, continuous integration).
- Good knowledge of spoken and written English.
Nice to have
- Strong understanding of IT Risk and IS security fundamentals.
Salary
- Junior 5 000 – 9 500 PLN gross na CoE / 6 000 – 11 500 PLN net B2B.
- Middle 9 500 – 12 500 PLN gross na CoE / 11 500 – 15 000 PLN net B2B.
- Senior 12 500 – 17 000 PLN gross CoE / 15 000 – 20 500 PLN net B2B.
