We are looking for a Digital Architect who can drive and implement the technology roadmap of the PlayDigital platform, ensuring the latest and greatest technology guidelines and best practices are adopted.
As a Digital Architect, you must have a proven track record of defining architectural designs with a sense of Lean and Agile practices. You are willing to work with a multi-disciplinary team of architects, engineering teams, subject matter experts, product managers to design, improve, and architect state-of-the-art digital platforms.
The Digital Architect is the owner of our PlayDigital platform architecture. You are responsible for ensuring rationalization, integration and scaling of the digital platform via collaboration with different teams across the company.
Bleeding edge technologies mixed with legacy modules are part of the daily work, with the aim of bringing the overall architecture to the next level of flexibility, performance, quality and ease of maintenance.
You will use your skills in these areas:
- Cloud architecture design and implementation
- Rationalize technology offering
- Propose specific integration design
- Document architecture
- Evangelize engineering teams with guidance during implementation
- Support troubleshooting when required
Must to have skills:
- Experience in Azure cloud architecture design (3+ years strongly preferred)
- Experience in Kubernetes
- 5+ years’ hands-on experience in software development and/or architecture
- Proven experience leading through influence
- Experience in OOD & OOP (Java)
- Experience in databases (PostgreSQL is a plus) and web technologies
- Experience in data analysis, conversion and migration, interfaces and reports
- Experience with system and solution design using configuration and/or customization, integration, testing and support
- Experience in Agile methodologies
- Deep understanding of standard architectural patterns and best practices
- Experience with CI/CD tools and related methodologies
- Strong knowledge of modeling tools (UML, Archi)
- Strong communication and excellent writing skills
- Experience with private and public cloud (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
- Hands on experience with IaC tools
Nice to have skills:
- Transaction processing
- Architecture certifications (like TOGAF)
- Knowledge of NoSQL technologies
