Responsibilities:
1. Delivery Management
- Help the Product Managers to gather technical requirements for features and to understand the priorities from the engineering perspective
- Help the engineering teams to make real commitments
- Protect engineers from distractions by creating reasonable conditions and structure for engineers to focus on their goals
- Be the advocate for reducing the technical debt
2. Engineering Management
- Leverage the collaboration between cross-functional teams
- Work closely with teams to improve our architecture
- Implement engineering best practises
- Increase engineering excellence in teams
3. People Management
- Be responsible for up to 10 engineers (backend, fullstack and DevOps) spread across multiple cross-functional teams
- Foster our engineering culture
- Be the coach for engineers to improve their technical and social skills
- Advocate and plan education depending on the skills required in the teams
- One-on-ones
- Be responsible for the growth of our teams by being an active part in the recruiting process
- On-board new engineers
Requirements:
- 3 years of technical leadership and people management experience
- 5 years of software engineering experience
- Solid experience with micro-services architectures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
