What project do we have for you
Our customer is a global automotive technology company ushering in a new era of vehicle safety and autonomy. In cooperation with Intellias, our customer develops efficient algorithms for advanced driver assistance functions such as emergency braking and highway assistance.
The product consists of a 120° FoV high-resolution lidar sensor (hardware) and perception packages that segment the point cloud delivered by the lidar into interpretable structures like vehicles, pedestrians, and free space (software). The project includes systems and safety development (functional safety, safety of the intended functionality, and cybersecurity).
What will you do
- Design and develop real-time algorithms for trajectory planning and vehicle control
- Design and develop real-time algorithms for situation interpretation, collision avoidance, etc
- Design and develop state machines and function logic AEB or HWA
- Contribute an AD L4 ready software and system architecture
- Work with the LiDAR perception team to help define requirements on sensor performance, and metrics for sensor and algorithmic performance.
- Analyze, optimize, and tune the performance of your software stack
- Contribute to the software development tool environment as well as continuous integration
- Ensure the highest software quality of our products
- Use C++14 and high software code standards.
What do you need for this
- 5+ years of industry experience, or relevant work experience
- Production level programming knowledge especially using modern C++
- Experience with software optimization on CPU or GPU
- Extensive experience developing production-quality software in a Linux environment.
It will be great if you also have the following experience:
- Experience in ADAS or AD function development or similar areas
- Experience with unit testing, integration testing, CI/CD, etc.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Enjoy working within a dynamic and continuously evolving environment
- Able to work in cross-functional teams across organizational/geographical boundaries
- Experience developing advanced driver assistance or autonomous driving systems or similar systems such as robotic systems.
