What project do we have for you:
Our partner is a global automotive technology company ushering in a new era of vehicle safety and autonomy. In cooperation with Intellias, our customer develops efficient algorithms for advanced driver assistance functions such as emergency braking and highway assistance. Â
The product consists of a 120° FoV high-resolution lidar sensor (hardware) and perception packages that segment the point cloud delivered by the lidar into interpretable structures like vehicles, pedestrians, and free space (software). The project includes systems and safety development (functional safety, safety of the intended functionality, and cybersecurity), and the verification and validation of a specific perception feature — Horizon Detection.Â

What will you do:
- Improve overall code quality with refactoring and optimizationsÂ
- Create and maintain unit and integration tests in C++Â
- Lead C++ automated testing efforts (test framework development, etc.)Â
- Identify unit test coverage gapsÂ
- Improve unit test coverage for C++ 14 codebase using Catch2 and trompeloeil frameworksÂ
- Work with LiDAR perception team to make effective integration tests in C++Â
- Contribute to the software development tool environment as well as continuous integrationÂ
- Ensure the highest software quality for our productsÂ
- Communicate with a client about requirementsÂ
- Collaborate and share expertise with team membersÂ

What do you need for this:
- 3+ years' experience in C++ software engineeringÂ
- Strong experience with unit & integration tests and quality toolsÂ
- Automotive / AUTOSAR experience will be a huge plusÂ
