Project
You will be working on all activities necessary to implement and maintain a database system for a product.
You will
- Develop, test and debug tools for automated database schema migrations
- Develop, test and debug other tools for database operations automation
- Generate scripts to create database objects such as tables, partitions, indexes, views, sequences
- Move, rebuild, or change database objects as required, assist with impact analysis of any changes made to database objects
- Perform reverse engineering of physical data models from databases and SQL scripts
- Evaluate existing data models and databases for variances and discrepancies
- Provide technical assistance to development teams
Must have
- Minimum 5 years related experience with 3+ years of experience working with relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL
- Proficiency in Java programming language
- Experience in development, execution and maintenance of automation scripts written in Python or other languages
- Knowledge of SQL language
- Experience in working with relational databases, preferably Oracle
- DevOps expertise with experience in applying CI/CD principles using tools such as Git, Jenkins, Maven, Ansible
- Basic knowledge of UNIX/Linux from a user perspective
- Basic knowledge of ITIL best practices and tools such as ServiceNow
- Strong analytical skills – ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Nice to have
- Experience in using database schema migration tools such as Liquibase or Flyway
- Experience using cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP
- Experience with containerization-based technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes

- The budget for this position is up to 115 PLN/h net on B2B or 12 500 PLN gross on standard work agreement
