Responsibilities

• Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure
• Understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to developers
• Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
• Testing and examining code written by others and analyzing results
• Ensuring that systems are safe safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
• Identifying technical problems and developing software updating and fixes
• Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that Development follows established processes and works as intended
• Planning out projects and being involved in project management decisions
• Supporting projects, collaborating with internal and external development teams, environment maintenance, problem diagnosis and resolution, running and validation of data exchange processes.

Requirements and qualifications

• Min.2 years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer
• Master's or Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
• Experience with one or more programming and scripting languages, such as Python, Java, Go, C/C++, Perl, Ruby, JavaScript and Bash
• Significant experience in Windows and Linux operating system environments
• Knowledge of one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Good hands-on knowledge of Configuration Management and Deployment tools like – Puppet, Ansible, Chef, Terraform etc.
• Knowledge of Git and Git workflows
• Experience in developing Continuous Integration/ Continuous Delivery pipelines (CI/ CD)
• Experience with Agile Software Development methodologies
• Fluent English
