We are looking for a dedicated and highly skilled Software EngineerĀ to join our team and work on an advanced analytics platform for retail clients and case teams.Ā We are investing significantly into building digital products to support enablement and new ways of working that complement our consulting offerings. The ideal candidate has worked on cloud-based data platforms and developed analytical applications, ideally in Python Flask and React.
We are looking for someone that has:Ā
- Experience in developing apps in a microservices structure andĀ cloud platforms (ideally GCP and Azure)
- Knowledge of creating and using web APIs
- Backend experience with Python
- Frontend experience with React
- Proven success in developing client-facing applications in a multi-tenant environment
- Understanding of web app security, mitigating potential issues before release
ā¦ and is good at:
- Solving tricky dev problems, including data architecture, performance optimization, and front end/user experience
- Developing and deploying containerized web applications, leveraging Kubernetes & Docker
- Building a high-performing advanced analytics platform from the ground up and continuously improving performance
- Operating in and managing a secure multi-tenant environment that complies with all infosec and client requirements
- Writing high-quality and scalable code, ideally with previous experience in a retail or very-large-dataset environment
- Rapidly creating highly flexible and scalable frontend applications using Python Flask and React
- Performing unit, integration, acceptance, and another relevant automated testing
- Creating and consuming web APIs that use REST, gRPC or GraphQL
- Leading technical discussions with key stakeholdersĀ
- Quickly building knowledge of business logic and desired outcomes to better architect solutions for the business
