The project:
You will be a part of a team of developers in which we are building
a completely new operational communication system in the safety-critical railway environment.Â
The activities for the Scrum Team include the development of essential parts of:
- the user interface (designed to be very flexible and adaptable to customer needs),
- the required backend (designed as an application server and integrated into a Kubernetes environment),
as well as the development of the corresponding IMS (IP-Multimedia System) application server for the rail-specific voice communication functions.
Team:Â Scrum Master, 2 C++ Developers, QA (team from Poland), the team is cooperating with a second team from Austria (team size 5-6 members)
Type of contract: B2BÂ (employment contract possible)
Salary:+/- 120-135 PLN net/h (on B2B) *depending on experience

Preferred scale of work:Â 8 hours/day and 18 days/month

Qualifications we expect you to have:
âť– Experience as a C++ Developer (4-5 years)
❖ Experience in team-oriented development of complex distributed software systems in a Linux-based cloud-like environment with a strong focus on availability, continuous operation, security, and safety
❖ Detailed knowledge of solid software design principles
âť– Detailed knowledge of modern C++ (we are working with C++ 20)
❖ Experience with development tools like Git
âť– Being open to work as part of a Scrum team at scale (we are working in SAFe methodology)
âť– Very good English knowledge in writing and speaking, German of advantage
âť– Willingness to travel to the headquarters (Vienna) for ramp-up
âť– Completed degree in computer science or a related area of expertise
Nice to have:
âť– experience with Python, Cassandra, RabbitMQ, Kubernetes and OpenStack, SIP and IMS (IP
